We had the good fortune to induct three new members at Wednesdays meeting. Bill Mealia introduced Janey Hamlett, Jacqui Gradel and Ana Liranzo to the Club.

Janey, Jacqui and Ana have already become involved in Club activities, and we look forward to more great things from them as they transition from "members" of the Elizabeth Rotary Club to Rotarians.

Our guest speaker was Margaret Whalen, Executive Director of We Can Do Better New Jersey, a group which advocates school choice throughout the state.

Program Chairman Jim Duffy and Acting President Marie Krupinski welcome Margaret and Program Associate Dominic Pepper.

Frank was joined by our own Jim Duffy to give us the top 10 reasons to attend the conference. (something about pubs on every corner???)

Our guest speakers were Emma Lee and Ying Ying Zhang from the Shen Yun Performing Arts. Ying Ying's presentation centered around the Chinese classical dance company and how it uses dance to display Chinese civilization and various aspects of Chinese culture. Her talk also explored China's vast array of ethnic groups and the role Shen Yun plays in bringing cultural awareness to the Western World.

Program Chairman Jim Duffy and President Art Lobdell welcome Emma and Ying Ying, and thank them for a most interesting and informative program.
