An enthusiastic group of Rotarians, family and friends were on hand Friday evening as we celebrated the re-Installation of President Bob Tombs for his second term as President of the Rotary Club of Elizabeth!

The highlights included $15,000 donated to local and International charities, $21,000 in Scholarships to Elizabeth High School students, 2,500 dictionaries given to Third Grade students in Elizabeth & Hillside, the formation of a Rotaract Club at Kean University, and the sponsorship of a new playground on the Elizabeth waterfront in partnership with the Where Angels Play Foundation. (Founder Bill Lavin was also named as the District’s Jean Harris Award recipient). Wow!! No wonder Bob’s serving a second term!
