Weekly Meeting
June 27, 2012




We had a most inspirational program presented by Ken Grisback (center). Ken participates in the Ironman Triathlon, but his talk was also about friendship and sacrifice. He gave new meaning to our motto "Service above Self". Ken is welcomed by President Marie Krupinski and program chairman, Bob Tombs.
Installation Dinner
June 21, 2012




Rotarians, friends and family enjoyed an evening of fun and fellowship at our Installation Dinner at the Garden Restaurant.












A Paul Harris Fellowship Award was presented by Bill Mealia to Katie Baird for her dedicated service to the Elizabeth Rotary Club.



Katie receives congratulations from her fiancée, Joe.



Past President Steve Hafer presents outgoing President Art Lobdell with a plaque and past presidents pin, commemorating his successful Rotary year.



We congratulate our new President, Marie Krupinski. Marie's induction ceremony was conducted by Past District Governor Jim Simmons. Marie promises us a fun filled and productive year.



It's official! The gavel is passed. Thank you Art! Good luck Marie! Here's to a great 95th year of Service above Self.
Early Act Walk

The guest speaker at our June 13th meeting was Anita Zinsmeister, a Rotarian from Trenton and an instructor from Dale Carnegie.

Anita had us brainstorming on ways to increase our Club's membership.

Early Act Walk

Our EarlyAct Club at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Academy held it's second annual Walk-a thon on June 8th.

They raised $1,000 which was donated to Achilles International, a non profit organization which assists disabled veterans.

The check was presented by Deacon Joe Caporaso to Enza Jacobowitz from Achilles.
























Weekly Meeting

Our guest speaker was Len Nemeroff, from the Hamilton Township Rotary Club. Len is a volunteer with ShelterBox, a non-profit which provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world affected by natural disasters.



The ShelterBox tents in Haiti are still being used today, two years after the earthquake.



Acting President Jim Duffy welcomes Len. Our Club has given financial support to this wonderful Organization. More information can be found on www.ShelterBox.org



We have a friendly wager between baseball fans Joan Yankitis (Yankees) and Bob Tombs (Mets) as to which team will have the best record by the All-Star break. Terms of the bet were not revealed.
